

What is hypnosis?Hypnosis is a natural, yet altered state of mind, in which the critical factor is relaxed and the hypnotist and client speak directly to the subconscious mind. It is an alpha wave brain state which everyone experiences everyday. Have you ever driven home and forgotten how you got there because you were thinking so deeply about something? That is a light trance or form of hypnosis. It is similar to deep prayer or meditation. |

Why should I choose hypnotherapy and NLP to help change my attitudes and habits, and help me reach my goals?It is simply a matter of science. The subconscious mind is the seat of emotion which means it is our irrational mind that operates on feelings. How many times have you decided that you will use sheer willpower to change a facet of your behavior only to find that you fall back into your same routine? This is because willpower does not work in the long term. Willpower is an aspect of the conscious or rational mind. We can reason as to why we need to change our behavior, but if we feel like doing something, then the feeling eventually wins over the reasoning and we will continue on our same path. Your subconscious mind has been programmed since birth to form beliefs based on events in your life. These beliefs are attached to emotions. Emotions drive your behavior, and your behavior gives you the results in your life*. The most effective way to make a permanent and lasting change in your behavior, is to examine the beliefs in your subconscious mind, and make different choices as to how you identify yourself and how you view the world. This method is best accomplished with hypnosis since hypnosis allows you to speak directly to the subconscious mind.
